One of the places that we cannot forget is the Shedd Aquarium. The aquarium boasts over eighty habitats and one thousand five hundred species of sea animals. One of the most interesting exhibits in this aquarium is ‘Amazon Rising’ which is a recreation of the Amazon forest and the surrounding tropical jungle.

While visiting Chicago, you will not have spent your time wisely without going to the Willis Tower (formerly known as the Sears Tower), the tallest building in the United States. It boasts eye popping views of the city below and attracts over one million annual visitors.

Chicago is also home to the largest science center in the Western Hemisphere – the Museum of Science and Industry. This is the first museum of its kind in North America as it allows visitors to touch and even interact with exhibits.

The Navy Pier is Chicago’s number one attraction for visitors to the Windy City. It has gone through various uses over the decades, but today its drawing attractions include a Giant Ferris Wheel, an IMAX theater, the Chicago Shakespeare Theater, a funhouse Maze, as well as countless cafes, bars, and restaurants.

Finally, you cannot visit Chicago, and fail to pass through Michigan Avenue, which boasts a district with great architecture, plentiful shopping opportunities, beautiful structures, and business developments. Chicago is one of the greatest cities in North America, and although it is difficult to cover everything the city has to offer in just a few days, if you visit the five attractions mentioned above, it will be an excellent introduction to the city, and you will have done pretty well during your visit to Chicago.
